There's nothing like the excitement in the air when a new baby enters the world! Birth photography is absolutely one of my favorite subjects. Each one is different, and they're all unpredictable. Whether it's totally natural, a planned c-section, or an induction that seems to last for days... I love doing these!
All newborn sessions are done in my home studio located in north Bossier. Ideally, the session should be done within the first 10 days in order to have your precious little one as sleepy and movable as possible. I provide all props, but of course you are encouraged to bring your own as well. I do not ever put a time limit on newborn sessions. I work on your baby's schedule, and I always allow plenty of time for you to comfort your baby as needed. In addition, I have a private area you are welcome to use for nursing. I typically ask parents to allow about 4 hours for the session. It may or may not take that long. Again, we're on baby's time, not ours!
Children & Families
Family photos are priceless. I strongly encourage families to do a portrait at least every 2 years. The time you have with everyone together is so valuable, and young people are constantly changing. Capture these moments you have together. You'll never regret it! Someday these images will serve as a record of your family's history, and they're worth every penny.
That means you too, MOM! Nobody cares if you have a few pounds to lose or your hair isn't perfect. Your children love you just like you are - flaws and all!
And don't forget... family photos don't always have to be formal. What kid doesn't love dressing up like Superman every now and then?
I absolutely LOVE shooting seniors! Your child is unique, and their senior photos should reflect this. Don't settle for the same old thing! Just like my newborn sessions, I don't put a time limit on senior portrait sessions. I encourage you to bring several outfits, props, pets, and whatever else you have that will help me tell YOUR story!
No matter how big or small, your special event deserves the best!
